There are my notes for the book: Thinking, Fast and Slow by Denial Kehnaman.
Introduction
Availabilty of a label for bias makes it easier to anticipate, recognize, and understand. Example. previously many mental problems weren’t labeled like say depression but once it was labeled as such it became easier to perform diagnosis and treat. On the similar lines, author talks about halo effect Halo effect is the tendency for positive impressions of someone in one area to positively influence one’s opinion or feelings in other areas. ,
